Moving Walkways Replacement Works

The moving walkways near Coles and Target will be replaced. To carry out this work, the moving walkways will be closed from Monday 12 August, and are scheduled to reopen in late October.

The replacement works are part of Sunshine Plaza’s ongoing commitment to providing an exceptional customer experience as we improve the moving walkways functionality and efficiency as they reach the end of their lifecycle. 

Plan Your Visit 

All stores will remain open during this time and we encourage customers to plan ahead when navigating between the Ground level and Level 1, and when accessing the centre from the Orange Car Park.

Temporary Centre Entry Closure – Mezzanine Orange Car Park

The Centre entry on the Mezzanine Level of the Orange Car Park will be closed for the duration of the works. Centre access from the Mezzanine Level will be via the lift or stairwells.

Ground level and Level 1 entries will remain open for the duration of works.

Visiting with Prams/Trolleys and Mobility Aids  

We encourage all customers using prams/trolleys and mobility aids around Coles and Target to locate the closest available lifts to move between levels.   

For lift access:  

Ground level: Use either the lift located in the Orange Car Park or next to Lorna Jane.

Level 1: Use either the lift located in the Orange Car Park or next to Dotti.

Orange Mezzanine and Level 2: Use lift located in the Orange Car Park or park on either Ground level or Level 1 for direct centre access.

Centre Operation 

During this period, all stores within Sunshine Plaza will remain open for business, and will continue to operate as usual. 

Works are expected to be completed in late October.
