Sunshine Plaza's new outdoor playground is now open!
The Sunshine Coast's newest playground is located on Cornmeal Promenade between Coca Bar and Shoes & Sox entrance. The playground design draws inspiration from Sunshine Coast's marine fauna with a giant pelican tunnel slide, climbing seal, scramble net and play submarine, ensuring a fun-filled experience for all ages.

The playground will be open from the 16th January 2025.

Where is the playground located?
The playground is located on Cornmeal Promenade between Coca Bar and Shoes & Sox entrance.

Where is the closest car park to the playground?
Best parking to access the playground is either the Woolworth car park off Plaza Parade or Myer multideck car park.

Is the playground covered?
The playground is located outside and while some sections of the playground are covered, we suggest using appropriate outdoor protection, including sunscreen and hats, when visiting the playground.

What is the closest coffee shop to the playground?
Coca Bar is located next to the playground and Banjo’s Bakery Café is located across the bridge.

Are there any other playgrounds at Sunshine Plaza?
There are two other playgrounds at Sunshine Plaza; an indoor boat playground, opposite Jamba, and an outdoor mini ropes inspired playground, near Banjo’s Bakery and Café.
